Ladybug Garden Party

Wanted to share a little girl’s birthday I just styled and coordinated recently.
Mom wanted a ladybug garden theme but felt there was a lack of inspiration coming across only red and black color schemes. I wanted the color palette to blend into the backdrop, her garden-like backyard, and feel prettier and softer than the bolder aforementioned hues.
We went with a peach salmon and coral combination to pop against the surrounding green foliage. Small accents of cheery yellow were used to create depth and burlap table runners and banners were used to add texture.
For a little glitz and sparkle, we decided gold was the right choice, used sparingly in centerpieces and pinata.
For a whimsical and playful effect, we had balloon flowers made that we “planted” throughout. And drew large-scale flowers on cement with chalk.
Pretty yet suitable enough for kids.
Happy Wednesday!
